This year Contest and Exhibition has been opened in the presence of Taekwondo gold medal winner in the Men"s 80-kg Category in the Beijing Olympic Games, Hadi Saei, weightlifting gold medal winner in the Men`s 60-kg category in the Beijing Paralympic Games, Hamzeh Mohammadi, owner of the IOC diploma for the 7th place in the 2008 Olympic Sport and Art Contest ,Mohammad Reza Yazdi, Iranian Judo champion, Mahmoud Miran who has drew unforgettable paintings and presents them in this exhibition, Iranian high-ranking sport officials and the other artists and participants.
“First thanks the participants who presented their artworks to this contest. The artists always show sport, athletes and sports performances through painting, movie, music, sculpture and even colors to the world. Without any doubt sport and art are the best complement and there is an exemplary relation among them, I hope success for all sport and art society” said Hadi Saei.
During this contest Hadi Saei and Hamzeh Mohammadi were appreciated for their efforts in Beijing Games and received Iranian NOC Merit Emblem.
