On behalf of the Olympic movement, I should like to convey my greetings to all the participants of the 2008 national Olympic, sport and Art contest.

In this Olympic year, the National Olympic and  paralympic Academy of Iran could not find a better theme than "Olympic and Paralympic Sports" to invite the artists and talented public of Iran to create sculptures, posters, caricatures and paintings, thereby illustrating once again the union of the worlds of sport and art.

I wish the organizers every success. And good luck to all the competitors!
